East European Genealogical Society Seminar: "Family History Library Resources and Research in the Former Russian Empire"
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 45 Dalhousie Drive, Winnipeg.
This full-day and evening seminar will feature presentations by internationally renowned authority, Kahlile Mehr from Salt Lake City. The presentations will focus on two distinct subjects namely, Family History Library Resources and Research in the Former Russian Empire. The first subject includes information for the former Russian Empire but is also relevant for other areas of eastern Europe such as Poland and Ukraine (including Galicia and Bukovina). The former Russian Empire was comprised of modern-day Russia, the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia), Belarus, Poland (northeastern), Ukraine (central and eastern including Black Sea), and other former Soviet republics.
Cost: EEGS Members $60.00; Non-members $65.00 (includes lunch); Dinner $28.00 each
